Translation Service

Certified Document Translation. USCIS Accepted. Court Ready.

Certified translations with signed translator declarations for passports, birth certificates, marriage licenses, death certificates, foreign diplomas, police records, and all personal documents required for US immigration applications and federal agency submissions.

Certified Document Translation

Certified translation is required whenever a foreign-language document is submitted to USCIS, a US court, a state agency, or many professional licensing bodies. The certification requirement means the translation must include a signed statement from the translator attesting to their qualifications and the completeness of the translation. Documents that lack proper certification are rejected and returned, which can mean missed filing deadlines and significant delays.

Our certified translations are formatted to meet USCIS requirements. The translator declaration includes the translator's qualifications, a statement that the translation is accurate and complete, the translator's signature, the date of translation, and the contact information for the translation agency. This format is accepted by USCIS, immigration courts, and most state-level agencies.

We translate and certify all personal document types: passports and national identity cards, birth certificates, marriage and divorce certificates, death certificates, foreign diplomas and academic transcripts, police clearance certificates, adoption documents, military records, and financial records required for visa applications.

A common question is whether certified translation requires the translator to be a notary. In the US, USCIS does not require notarization -- certification by a qualified translator is sufficient. If your specific filing requires a notarized translation (some state courts and certain foreign authority documents do), we offer that as an add-on.

We are familiar with document formats from the countries most frequently represented in US immigration filings -- Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Haiti, Vietnam, China, Philippines, India, and others. If your document has an unusual format or has been damaged or partially illegible, contact us before submitting to discuss how we handle those situations.
